Everything we buy and sell is either new or gently used, and we offer brands renowned for their style, value, and durability. Because of this, we prefer to feature items that have been in retail stores within the past five years.

We will gladly consider purchasing your children's new or gently used clothing, toys & books, furniture, and equipment. Please call 563.359.3770 to inquire about bringing items in. When you bring items in we'll quote you a "wait time" for how long it will take us to process your items. Feel free to stay and shop or return to our store 1 hour prior to close to review your quote. We participate in the same day pick up policy. You always have the option to pass on our offer if you'd prefer to keep your items.
Clothing, Toys & Equipment need to come in clean, have all of their parts and be in good working condition. Items cannot be on a recall list in order for Once Upon A Child to be able to make an offer on them. Cribs, change tables, toddler beds etc. need to be assembled in store to verify all parts are present. Items may be brought in already assembled.
At Once Upon A Child, safety and product quality are always our top priorities. For these reasons, there are some items we are unable to buy such as car seats and recalled products, which do not meet current Government Safety Standards.
